Emergence of Time-Dependent Point Interactions in Polaron Models

چکیده

We study the dynamics of three-dimensional polaron - a quantum particle coupled to bosonic fields in quasi-classical regime. In this case are very intense and corresponding degrees freedom can be treated semiclassically. prove that such regime effective for particles is approximated by one generated time-dependent point interaction, i.e., singular perturbation Laplacian supported point. As by-product, we also show unitary interaction strong operator topology Schr\"{o}dinger operators with suitably rescaled regular potentials.

Resonances in Models of Spin Dependent Point Interactions

In dimension d = 1, 2, 3 we define a family of two-channel Hamiltonians obtained as point perturbations of the generator of the free decoupled dynamics. Within the family we choose two Hamiltonians, Ĥ0 and Ĥε, giving rise respectively to the unperturbed and to the perturbed evolution. The Hamiltonian Ĥ0 does not couple the channels and has an eigenvalue embedded in the continuous spectrum. The ...

Spin-dependent polaron recombination in conjugated polymers.

We simulate the interchain polaron recombination process in conjugated polymer systems using a nonadiabatic molecular dynamics method, which allows for the coupled evolution of the nuclear degrees of freedom and multiconfigurational electronic wavefunctions. Within the method, the appropriate spin symmetry of the electronic wavefunction is taken into account, thus allowing us to distinguish bet...

Inference in continuous-time change-point models

We consider the problem of Bayesian inference for continuous-time multi-stable stochastic systems which can change both their diffusion and drift parameters at discrete times. We propose exact inference and sampling methodologies for two specific cases where the discontinuous dynamics is given by a Poisson process and a two-state Markovian switch. We test the methodology on simulated data, and ...

Prediction of emergence of Flixweed (Descurainia sophia) and Wild Oat (Avena fatua) using thermal time models in Winter Rapeseed (Brassica napus)

A thermal time (TT) model was developed to simulate field emergence of two weed species (flixweed and wild oat) in winter rapeseed. Practical predictive weed emergence models can provide information about timing of weed emergence. Non-linear regression models are usually able to accurately predict field emergence under specific environmental conditions. In the present study, cumulative seedling...

2 00 5 Point Interactions in Acoustics : One Dimensional Models

A one dimensional system made up of a compressible fluid and several mechanical oscillators, coupled to the acoustic field in the fluid, is analyzed for different settings of the oscillators array. The dynamical models are formulated in terms of singular perturbations of the decou-pled dynamics of the acoustic field and the mechanical oscillators. Detailed spectral properties of the generators ...
